How is this possible? We build and made use of several projects such as LibreQuake to allow you to run Quake modifications without distributing the original registered data files. Special tweaks and fixes are done to each title to represent it in a new, but authentic way. We source the latest (or best fit) for the Arcade.

You can play on-line multiplayer with your friends. Host a server as usual and others can join you from all around the world. You don't need to forward ports either or download anything else.

If you don't have anyone to play with, there may be bots (ai multiplayer opponents) supported too. Watch out for what each individual game page has to say on bot support.
